This is absolute heresy.
The premise of this film project was to allow sound to inform the design choices. Given several themes to pick from, I chose fear. Evoking familiar textures, shots, and lighting, the film and its intro and end title sequences pay homage to the horror genre and its history.
I served as writer, director, director of photography, editor, sound editor, title designer, and producer. Anthony Fava and Jessica Fields portray Chris and Summer. The project was created utilizing Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. The final cut was exported at pre-render, which gives the footage its organic scan line texture.
