The Atelier is one of Night Shift’s signature brands. At the height of the pandemic, they orchestrated a pivot from live conferences in Toronto and Niagara into the digital event sphere. Our studio equipped them for the task, with some show-stopping motion graphics to boot.
Beyond 2020 Conference Introduction Animation
Night Shift designed a trendy display face to mark the digital era of The Atelier business conference. I had the pleasure of designing most of the characters after the initial pitch to complete the type face.
The “Digital” 2020 identity is whimsical, elegant, and feminine, with an execution that is calculated and cybernetic.

I created a robust system of motion graphics to organize the conference, including lower thirds tags to introduce new speaker channels, and title cards announcing discussion panels, sponsors, and special presentations.
